In Krasnoyarsk, WWII veteran Dmitry Mizyaev turned 99 years old (video)

A resident of the Sovetsky district of Krasnoyarsk, a participant in the Great Patriotic War, Dmitry Parfenovich Mizyaev, turned 99 years old.
The head of the local administration, Elena Lanina, congratulated the veteran on his birthday.
Dmitry Mizyaev – Honorary Citizen of Krasnoyarsk. In 1944, when he was only 17 years old, he was drafted into the 37th training rifle regiment of the city of Kansk. Six months later he was sent to Sakhalin to defend the Motherland during the war with Japan.
“We thank our Hero for his courage, fortitude and feat! We wish you health, long life, care and attention,” the Sovetsky district administration congratulated the veteran.
