The Tuvan authorities have canceled mass New Year's celebrations with fireworks due to the SVO

Governor of Tuva Vladislav Khovalyg has banned mass New Year's events with fireworks in the region. According to him, such celebrations would be unethical in relation to the participants of the special operation.
“While our sons, brothers, fathers are on the front line, our main task is to be with them in thoughts and deeds, and not in noisy festivities,” writes Khovalyg in the telegram channel. He called on residents to spend the holiday with their families and use the saved funds to support military personnel.
At the same time, New Year trees, matinees and ice towns will be preserved for children. They promise to pay special attention to children from families of SVO participants.
The head of the region noted that similar restrictions have already been introduced in the Stavropol Territory, Bashkiria, Crimea, Leningrad Region, Krasnodar Territory and Chuvashia.
Let us recall that last year the Governor of the Krasnoyarsk Territory Mikhail Kotyukov limited the use of pyrotechnics during the New Year holidays. Moreover, the decree was published directly on December 31.
