The prosecutor's office is seeking the purchase of life-saving equipment for Krasnoyarsk beaches

In Krasnoyarsk, before the start of the swimming season, rescue posts were not equipped with equipment.

As the prosecutor's office found out, lifebuoys, vests, ropes, binoculars, megaphones and glanders were not purchased for the beaches. At the same time, for the construction of four new and modernization of three existing rescue posts 13 million rubles were allocated from the regional budget.

Responsible employees of the city's rescue services were issued warnings. After this, the purchase of equipment was finally started.

The department reminded that in Krasnoyarsk it will be possible to swim only on Tatyshev Island – at the Oktyabrsky Bridge, in Strelka Bay, on Lakes Tikhoe and Zerkalnoye. These places will open after a positive conclusion from Rospotrebnadzor.

Since last year, subsidies for the equipment of rescue posts began to be allocated to districts of the Krasnoyarsk Territory. This year, 55 million rubles were allocated to equip the beaches. From June 1, 20 rescue posts will operate in the region – in Divnogorsk, Shushensky, Kezhemsky, Sharypovsky districts, Achinsk, Minusinsk, Zheleznogorsk and other territories. Another post will be opened in the Karatuz district at the expense of the local budget. In the Bolshemurtinsky, Balakhtinsky districts and Kansk, posts have already been prepared.

In addition, the prosecutor's office introduced a bill to the Legislative Assembly that would oblige parents not to allow children under 14 years of age into the water unattended, and children under 7 years of age not to swim without personal life-saving equipment.
