Lukashenko announced his readiness to meet with Zelensky. The OP answered

Alexander Lukashenko, who calls himself the President of Belarus, on May 21 announced his readiness to meet with the President of Ukraine Vladimir Zelensky. The Belarusian agency BELTA wrote about this on Telegram.

Lukashenko made his statement against the background of a video conference with the illegitimate president of the aggressor country of Russia, Vladimir Putin, in the context of the likely involvement of Belarus in the war against Ukraine.

He did not rule out that Belarus could take part in the war, but only if “aggression is committed” on its territory. Then he and Putin are supposedly going to “defend themselves.” Under other conditions, according to Lukashenko, Belarus has “neither civil nor military” need to “get involved” in the war.

After this, Lukashenko mentioned Zelensky.

“If he [Зеленский] wants to talk about something, seek advice or something else, please, we are open to this. I am ready to meet with him anywhere – Ukraine, Belarus – and discuss the problems of Belarusian-Ukrainian relations. And maybe talk about prospects. For some reason, we have something to talk about with Americans, Germans, Poles, Lithuanians and Latvians, but nothing to talk about with Ukraine,” said the illegitimate president of Belarus.

Advisor to the President of Ukraine Dmitry Lytvyn, in a conversation with journalists, commented on Lukashenko’s statement, he was quoted by a correspondent of the publication “GORDON”.

“And since 2022, it’s obvious to everyone that this gentleman’s words mean nothing, so we’re following his actions. Lukashenko has a habit of a little stupidly coming up with after the fact where an attack on him was “prepared,” so what can we talk about? The president was in Slavutich today, talking with communities, in particular, on such issues,” Litvin noted.
