The money and property seized from the former head of the Khmelnitsky Regional Medical and Social Expert Commission (MSEC) Tatyana Krupa can be returned if the criminal proceedings are closed for lack of corpus delicti or partially in the event of a court verdict. Suspilna reported this on May 19 with reference to lawyer Natalya Svirnevskaya.
As the lawyer explained, if the case is closed, all seized funds and property must be returned to the owners. If the court makes a guilty verdict, then it is the court that will decide the future fate of the assets – some can be confiscated to the state, and some can be returned.
In the declarations for 2024 and 2025, filed in 2026, Krupa indicated that part of her assets – cash and valuables – were seized by law enforcement officers. Among them are Rolex watches, Dior jewelry, as well as significant amounts of cash in dollars, euros and hryvnia belonging to both her and her husband.
According to investigators, during searches of the Krupa family, they found millions of dollars in cash, jewelry and significant real estate in Ukraine and abroad, which, according to law enforcement officers, were not declared.
