Today, the Nordstar airline celebrates 16 years since the date of its first flight, which took place on June 17, 2009 on the Moscow -Norilsk route.

Over the years, the Nordstar airline has established itself as a reliable and stable air carrier, providing regular air traffic between Norilsk and key cities of Russia.

Since its foundation, the Nordstar airline has significantly expanded its route network, which covers such popular cities as Moscow, St. Petersburg, Kazan, Norilsk, Sochi, Mineral Waters, Makhachkala, Abakan, Krasnoyarsk, Novosibirsk and others.

In June 2025, the Nordstar airline first launched a new route from Bratsk to Sochi, which additionally expands the opportunities for passengers and makes travel more affordable.

In addition, the Nordstar airline is improving the standard for passenger service and the service provided. In 2024, the airline introduced a system of entertainment on board, providing passengers for free access to a variety of content, including films, series, audiobooks and fresh press, and in 2025, for the convenience of passengers, a chat boot was launched in a telegram channel, which greatly simplifies the process of obtaining information and services.

For passengers who want to increase the service class, the NordStar airline offered an upgrade 48 hours before departure. In addition to this, for the convenience of travelers with pets, the airline offered branded carrying for animals and other service services that provide comfort in flight.

Also in 2025, the NordStar airline was awarded the Wings of the Russian Aviation Prize with the results of 2024 in the nomination “Airlines of the year – passenger transportation for NOLD Group 3 (from 0.7 to 1.5 million pass.”
