“We will only watch the World Cup on TV!”

Today, at the Fundeni Clinical Institute, over 50 representatives of the motorcyclist community, including Bogdan Stelea, gathered, despite the rain, to support the seriously ill children hospitalized there.
Even if he is not a member of any fraternity, Bogdan Stelea is also an old motorcyclist, with many friends in this world. He had a Harley-Davidson, and recently acquired a chopper.
He apologized for not coming with him because of the rain, which beat almost continuously at the bikers' gathering in front of the hospital, but he wanted to be with them. It was a real motorcycle showroom, it came with more and more beautiful and sophisticated engines.

And, for a few minutes, the motorcyclists packed them to the max, to be heard by the little sufferers behind the hospital windows.
A message from motorcyclists that the little ones are not alone in the fight against the disease, that a community is thinking of them. It was just a preamble to a charity concert, “Bucharest Town Charity Run”, which will take place from July 17-19, near the National Arena, in the Pierre de Coubertin Square area.
A festival where, for 3 days, some of the most important rock and hip-hop bands will play, but not only, and the proceeds will be donated to purchase medical equipment for the pediatric hematology section at “Fundeni”.
Afterwards, a group of biker representatives, joined by Stelea, went up to the salons to hand out toys and other surprise gifts to the children.
Bogdan Stelea: “I would like U Cluj to win the championship!”
Invariably, the discussion shifted to football, to tonight's Superliga final, the match between the University of Craiova and the University of Cluj, the top two in the ranking, with two rounds before the end of the season.

He seems neutral, saying that “for me it doesn't matter who wins.” But he added that “however, I would like U Cluj to win the championship! If it has come this far and it is not yet known who will be the champion, that is a good thing.
It is clear that the people from Craiova have the first chance. But it is only decisive for Olteni, if they manage to win they are champions. But in a tied match, it's still played, until the last stage”.
“Our problems don't come from the coach!”
Referring to the return of Gică Hagi as a selector, Bogdan Stelea is rather pessimistic, saying that “things will be almost the same. Because, yes, the selector can bring something extra, but our problems are different, they don't necessarily belong to the selector”.
When it comes to the much trumpeted change of mentality in Romanian football, the former goalkeeper says that “if we talk about this generation, yes, things can happen. The atmosphere in which the competition takes place, how motivated the players are, matters a lot.
They demonstrated it two years ago, when they were the same players and managed to perform, even if it was not easy for them”.
Bogdan Stelea: “We are quite behind!”
“Things can be done, but our problem is not related to a generation or a period, it's how the players grow, how they reach, if we have to talk about the mentality. How they reach the national team level.
That's where the problems start. And we, from this point of view, are quite behind. And we see a World Cup on TV. And if we don't start doing things right, we'll see the World Cup on TV again!”.
Why don't these changes happen, even if the players who were active outside have become, very many, coaches? Bogdan Stelea's answer was short and unequivocal: “Because we, who played abroad, are not the ones who lead Romanian football. There are others! You have to ask them!”.
