US President Donald Trump said in a telephone interview with French television channel BFMTV on May 16 that Iran “will have a very difficult time” if an agreement is not reached.
He said he didn't know whether a U.S. deal with Iran would be reached anytime soon.
“I have no idea if they're going to do it. If they don't, they're in for a very, very tough time. They better make a deal,” Trump said.
Earlier, the media wrote that the United States was preparing for a possible resumption of attacks on Iran.
