Violent attack on Christmas. A man entered a yard where he destroyed several cars and threatened to kill a teenage girl
A family from the town of Nimigea de Sus, Bistrita-Năsăud county, experienced moments of horror on Christmas night, after a man forced his way into the house, threatened to kill a 14-year-old girl and later returned armed with a hatchet, destroying cars and trying to hit the owner.

The incident happened on the night of December 25, around 03:30. According to the owner's statements, a man from the locality, Ion C., trespassed into the home where several people were, including carolers invited to the table, reports News.ro.
Shortly after entering the house, the assailant became extremely violent. He allegedly grabbed a 14-year-old minor by the neck and repeatedly threatened her with death. The owner tried to calm him down and take him out peacefully, but the man reacted aggressively, jumped into the fight and continued to make threats, pushing him around the house, including in the bedroom.
Return with the ax and destruction in the yard
After being removed from the house, the individual ran to his home, but returned after about five minutes, armed with a hatchet. Then, he destroyed two cars belonging to the guests, parked in the courtyard of the building.
The situation degenerated further when the aggressor entered the yard again and tried to hit the owner with the axe. He tried to defend himself with a bat, but, according to the video images captured at the scene, he had to throw it away and run for his life, being chased by the aggressor.
The whole incident created panic and fear among those present, the seriousness of the facts being amplified by the death threats and the involvement of a minor.
What the Police say
The Bistrita-Năsăud County Police Inspectorate confirmed the incident and announced the opening of a criminal case.
“On December 25 of this year, a 20-year-old man from Nimigea de Sus notified the police about the fact that a 39-year-old man from the same locality entered the yard of a building belonging to a 21-year-old man, where he made threats. At the same time, he caused destruction, with an ax, of cars that were parked in the yard of the building. The police officers of Section 6 of the Năsăud Rural Police have drawn up a criminal file for committing the crimes of home invasion, destruction and threat and are continuing the investigations, and the necessary measures will be ordered”, it is stated in the official press release of IPJ Bistrita-Năsăud.
The aggressor, heard by the investigators
The man is currently in front of investigators and is being questioned about his violent behavior. From the first data, he would have entered the yard of the home without the right, made threats, including a minor, and destroyed several cars using an ax.
After the completion of the hearings, the investigators will decide what measures are required and whether the man will be detained or arrested for the acts committed on Christmas night.
