Israeli citizens with arrest warrants. The ICC has made its decision

The newspaper noted that it is not known who these arrest warrants concern or when the ICC issued them, as the Court often issues them first and only later makes them public.
In November 2024, the ICC issued arrest warrants for Israeli Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu and former Defense Minister Yoav Gallant. The application for the warrants was filed in May 2024 by ICC Prosecutor Karim Khan, claiming that both politicians were responsible for committing war crimes and crimes against humanity in connection with Israel's actions during the war in the Gaza Strip. The armed intervention in this territory was a response to the attack on Israel carried out by the Palestinian organization Hamas on October 7, 2023.
The ICC also issued arrest warrants for several senior Hamas officials, but withdrew them when they were killed by Israel during the war. Haaretz did not mention on Sunday that the ICC had issued further arrest warrants for the organization's leaders.
