In Moscow, two little girls, 2 and 4 years old, were rescued after their mother left them at home without food or water: hungry children stood on the window and asked for help, passers-by noticed this and called the authorities
The police helped the sisters and transferred them to a special institution. According to media reports, their 38-year-old mother later returned home drunk. A case was opened against her.
