Bulgaria won Eurovision 2026 decisively, scoring 516 points. Also on the podium were Israel (343 points) and Romania (296 points). The results were decided by the votes of the viewers and the jurors.

The winner of this year's Eurovision is 27-year-old Dara, aka Darina Jotowa. She gained popularity in her homeland thanks to her participation in “The X Factor”, where she took 3rd place in the final. Currently, he is one of the most important and expressive figures of Bulgarian pop. She shared her experience as a mentor in the program “The Voice of Bulgaria”.

Her triumph in Eurovision came with her dance song “Bangaranga”. The artist compares the energy of this piece to the tradition of Bulgarian kukeri – a ritual of scaring away evil spirits with dance and masks. “The word comes from Jamaican slang and means chaos, confusion, this beautiful kind of disorder,” she explained the meaning of the song's title.

Polish Alicja Szemplińska ultimately took 12th place, scoring 150 points. After the jury's vote, she took 7th place. She received 17 points from viewers.

The National Security Bureau, headed by Bartosz Grodecki, wrote on Saturday on the X platform that media reports about the limited presence of US troops in Europe do not directly or ultimately concern Poland. According to BBN, the rotation of American forces is ongoing, and equipment and soldiers from the United States are moving to the country.

Robert Lewandowski will play for Barcelona for the last time at Camp Nou on Sunday evening. The team, already confident of the championship title, will face Betis Sevilla in the penultimate round of the Spanish top league.
