The most spectacular match of the evening in Europe! Aston Villa secured their sixth straight win in all competitions. The team coached by Unai Emery defeated Brighton away, score 4-3, in the 14th stage of the Premier League, after a sensational comeback.
Birmingham moved up to third place, just one point behind second-placed Manchester City. Brighton snapped their four-match unbeaten run and dropped to seventh.

Donyell Malen scored the 4th goal for Aston Villa in the 68th minute with the first touch of the ball. Verbruggen had initially parried a Gueson header and Malen then fired home from close range.
In the 83rd minute, Brighton reduced the deficit with Van Hecke's shot from near the edge of the box.
It ended 4-3 for Aston Villa, a team that climbs to 3rd place, with 27 points after 14 matches. On the other side, Brighton are 7th with 22.
