• Robert Ilyeș first came to Csikszereda as a player in 2012 and played until 2018. Coaching at first in the area, at Sepsi, as second, but at Csikszereda he debuted as “main” in 2023.

• 2 years after he took over the position of head coach, in the summer of 2025, the “Ciucans” finished 3rd in the play-off of the second division, but obtained direct promotion to the Super League, due to the fact that Steaua did not have the right.

• In the first season in the Superliga, Csikszereda finished the regular season in 13th place, a position that guarantees the presence in the first league. At the moment they are at the top of the play-out table, but the stage is not over.
