Boris Cmijlanic (29 years old), Montenegrin striker, last time in Karmiotissa (Cyprus), signed with Sepsi Sfântu Gheorghe. The announcement was made by the Covăsnean club, through social networks.

Attila Hadnagy, Sepsi's sports director, had explained for GSP.ro on Saturday that the Liga 2 band would legitimize an attacker in the next period. Cmiljanic was free of contract after the separation of Karmiotissa12th place in the Cyprus championship last season.

Montenegrin was raised at the PSV Eindhoven Academy, but it was not debuting for the Great Dutch team.

Sepsi OSK continues to strengthen the lot for the competition season 2025/2026 and has reached a one -season agreement, with an extension option, with the mountain striker Boris Cmiljanic.

The 29-year-old Cmiljanic started his career at Budućnost Podgorica, after which he evolved for the U21 team of the PSV Eindhoven club in the Netherlands.

Former Youth International of his country (U17, U18, U19, U21), Boris Cmiljanic last time played in Cyprus, at Karmiotissa Pano Polemidion, and throughout his career he dressed, among others, the T-shirt of Qyzyljar Petopavlovsk (Kazakhstan), FK Dečić Tuzi, FK Sarajevo (Bosnia and Herzegovina) or Slovan Bratislava (Slovakia).

The Covăsnenii proposed their return to Superliga after the surprising relegation last year.
