The New Year holidays in Russia will be the longest in the last 12 years, RIA Novosti reports with reference to Svetlana Bessarab, a member of the State Duma Committee on Labor, Social Policy and Veterans Affairs.
She noted that the New Year's weekend 2026 will begin on December 31 and will last 12 days. Russians will return to work only on January 12.
Let us remind you that in 2024 the holidays lasted until January 8 inclusive.
