Trump's reaction after the “heavy blow” Ukraine received from Russia. Zelensky's order for the army

US President Donald Trump suggested on Friday that a Russian missile attack that hit a residential building in Kiev, killing 24 people, could hurt efforts to find a diplomatic solution to end Moscow's war against Ukraine, according to Reuters.
Speaking to reporters aboard the presidential aircraft Air Force One, the American leader stated that he also discussed the war in Ukraine with his Chinese counterpart. Donald Trump has said that both he and Xi Jinping want an end to hostilities.
“It's one we'd like to see resolved. Until last night, it looked good (the situation), but (the Ukrainians) took a heavy hit last night. So (the end of the war) will happen. But it's a shame (that the attack happened),” Trump said.
The attack, which partially destroyed a large residential building, left 24 people dead and another 48 injured, according to The Kyiv Independent.

Among those killed were three children, born in 2008, 2010 and 2013, the military administration of the city of Kyiv said. Emergency services announced Friday morning that they had ended the search and rescue operation.
Russia claims that Ukrainian drones killed four people, including a child, in an overnight attack on the city of Ryazan.
Both camps deny deliberately targeting civilians.
What Zelensky asked the Ukrainian army
Ukraine's president announced that he had ordered the army to prepare “possible forms of response” to the Russian attack on Kiev.
“It is a deliberate terrorist tactic of the Russians,” who “have been accumulating drones and missiles over a period of time and deliberately calculated the attack so that its scale would be significant, creating the greatest possible difficulties for our defense,” Zelenskiy said.
Ukraine's foreign minister, Andrii Sibiha, said he had made moves to initiate a UN Security Council meeting “to respond to the killing of Ukrainian civilians and attacks against humanitarian personnel by Russia.”
“Such scale of Russian terrorism requires strong international responses and I call on all states to react,” Sibiha said in a post on the X platform.
