The Chernivtsi region, under the fire of Russian drones. The air raid alarms lasted for 6 hours

On Wednesday, the Ukrainian army intercepted several drones over the Chernivtsi region, where an important community of ethnic Romanians lives, said the governor of the Chernivtsi region, Ruslan Osipenco, according to Agerpres.
According to him, eight drones were identified above Chernivtsi, six of which were shot down.
“Following the attack, the airspace of Bucovina was flown by eight enemy drones. Six of them were intercepted by the anti-aircraft forces, and two others left the airspace of the region. Fortunately, they passed without human and material losses”, the governor of the Chernivtsi region wrote on Facebook.
Chernivtsi, considered one of the safest regions
For the population of the region, the air raid alerts were the longest since the beginning of the war.
“It was the longest duration of the air raid alert since the beginning of the war. The population of Chernivtsi was alerted at 11:57. The alert was lifted at 18:58,” said a leader of the Romanian community in Chernivtsi.
The Chernivtsi region is considered one of the safest regions in Ukraine.
