Honored Artist of the RSFSR Svetlana Svetlichnaya was suspected of having cancer. According to Mash, the actress was diagnosed with a painful tumor under her lower jaw.
For the last month, Svetlichnaya has been tormented by a nagging pain in her left ear. The woman was admitted for examination. Lymph nodes were found to be twice as large in size on her neck, and an ultrasound showed a three-centimeter tumor.
The 84-year-old artist was referred to an oncologist so that he could prescribe histology and select a treatment plan. Svetlichnaya will probably need surgery. Svetlana Afanasyevna will undergo a CT scan in the near future.
In March of this year, she was diagnosed with acute myocardial infarction.
