For the kidnapping of Italian Stefano Guidotti, the perpetrators were promised 25 million rubles. According to Mash, the customer could have been one of the business competitors of the CEO of SIAD Rus.
Of the entire amount that the customer promised the thieves, they only received an advance – 800 thousand rubles. The rest was due after the crime. It is still unclear what they were going to do with Guidotti next. But he tried to fight the kidnappers. As a result, the Italian suffered three broken ribs, bruises and abrasions.
The general manager of the Russian representative office of Europe's largest manufacturer of technical gases was kidnapped on June 28. Four men pushed an Italian into a white van right in the center of Moscow (on video). They handcuffed me, put a bag over my head, took me to Bryansk and kept me hostage for a day. There the kidnappers and their victim were found by police.
