Alexandru Rafila confirms that he was involved in a road accident in the Capital. Another driver ended up in hospital / How the impact happened, according to the Police

The former Minister of Health, Alexandru Rafila, confirmed on Wednesday evening, for HotNews, that he was involved in a traffic accident in the Capital. He said it was a minor bump and the other driver went to the hospital for evaluation.

“Yes, it's true, it was a traffic accident, a collision, when leaving the ground, at a low speed of 10-15 km/h”, said Alexandru Rafila, contacted by HotNews.

The former government official also confirmed that another person – the driver of the other car – was taken to a medical facility.

“He went for an evaluation at the hospital, he apparently didn't have anything, because it took… until he got to the hospital quite a long time. The important thing is that he's okay. It's okay, first of all, for him (that he went to the hospital, no). It's about the driver of the car in front, he didn't have a passenger, it was a car… an Uber type taxi. Yes, he was taken to the hospital, for an evaluation, because apparently I didn't realize that he was in trouble. I don't want to do any kind of comment, the important thing is that it is good”, the former minister also said for HotNews.

Alexandru Rafila specified that he suffered nothing and insisted that “the impact was very small, almost after leaving the ground, at a distance of 10 meters”.

TVR Info and G4Media wrote, earlier on Wednesday evening, that the former minister was involved in a road accident, at the intersection of Bd. Aerogării and Bd. Ficusului in Bucharest.

According to TVR Info, four vehicles were involved in the accident, and the first checks showed that the driver in question was the former Minister of Health, Alexandru Rafila.
