In Samara, police detained a 19-year-old girl who worked as a courier for remote scammers and took almost 1.4 million rubles from two residents of Zheleznogorsk. This was reported to the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia for the Krasnoyarsk Territory.
According to preliminary data, on April 25, the suspect arrived in Krasnoyarsk, where she took money from two defrauded women, 48 and 52 years old. The victims themselves went to the regional center from Zheleznogorsk, thinking that they were transferring money to an “FSB officer” for the purpose of declaring their finances.

After this, the 19-year-old girl left for Samara, where she was supposed to transfer money to a crypto wallet. However, criminal investigation operatives detained her earlier.
During interrogation, the suspect said that she herself had become a victim of scammers. First, she told unknown people the code from an SMS, and later fake law enforcement officers started calling her. They convinced the girl that a case of treason could be opened against her and offered “cooperation.” At first she was told that she needed to transport documents, but later she was instructed to take money from people and transfer it to cryptocurrency.
A criminal case was opened against the detainee under Part 3 of Art. 159 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation “Fraud”. The girl is now in custody. The police said they plan to return the stolen money to the victims.
