In the Ilansko-Nizhneingashsky municipal district, a court sentenced a local resident for fraud in receiving social benefits. This was reported to the regional prosecutor's office.
According to the supervisory agency, the man learned that low-income citizens can receive one-time assistance under a social contract for the development of their own business. To do this, he prepared a fictitious business plan for the demolition of emergency and dilapidated housing.
According to the documents, the money was supposed to be used to purchase construction tools necessary for the work. After the application was approved, 350 thousand rubles were credited to the man’s account as part of the national project “Family”.
However, he did not intend to engage in entrepreneurship. The man spent the funds received for personal needs.
A criminal case was opened against the attacker under Part 3 of Art. 159.2 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation. The court found the man guilty and sentenced him to 2 years of imprisonment in a special regime colony.
The resident of Ilansky fully compensated for the damage to the state.
