The Ministry of Emergency Situations counted the number of fires in the Krasnoyarsk Territory during the May holidays

From May 9 to May 11, 46 fires were extinguished in the Krasnoyarsk Territory. In 21 cases, grass and garbage burned, the regional Ministry of Emergency Situations said.
No deaths were registered these days. At the same time, on May 9, two people were injured in Nazarovo and the village of Marinino, Kuraginsky District. According to preliminary data, the cause of the incident was a short circuit. Fire and rescue units also went out 10 times to eliminate the consequences of road accidents.
Experts continue to notify residents and monitor the situation in the region.
There is a special fire regime in the Krasnoyarsk Territory. Visits to forests are limited; it is prohibited to make fires, burn garbage and dry grass, or carry out fire-hazardous work. For violation of fire safety requirements, those responsible face both administrative and criminal liability.
