About 30 countries are ready to join the agreement on a special tribunal for Russian aggression – Ukrainian Foreign Ministry

Already 29 states are planning to join the agreement to launch a special tribunal for the crime of aggression of the aggressor country of the Russian Federation against Ukraine. The Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Andriy Sibiga announced this on May 12 in X.

According to him, today Cyprus announced its intention to facilitate the creation of a special tribunal.

“This is a significant step on the part of the country that currently holds the EU presidency,” the minister said.

Sibiga emphasized that the growing number of countries supporting such an initiative indicates a powerful impetus for restoring justice.

“We will bring to justice those who are guilty of the crime of aggression against Ukraine. I call on all states – both in Europe and in other regions – to join this historic initiative. This is a matter of principles,” the Foreign Minister noted.
