Rapid – FC Arges 2-0. Alex Dobre (27 years old), the winger from Rapid, spoke at the end of the game that his team won on Saturday night, at home. He sang in the middle of the interview, then he also addressed the topic of not being called up to the Romanian national team, for the decisive matches in November.

Dobre was the author of the first goal, scoring at the end of a well-worked phase by Giulești, in the 26th minute.

At the end of the confrontation, Dobre was asked in the flash-interview what was sung about at the end of the matchin front of the lawn, in the moments of celebration, and the Rapid player reproduced the favorite lyrics “Who's on the first place? It's Rapid!”. The interview ended on a slightly tense note, after he was asked about not being called up to the Romanian national team, for the decisive duels in November, with Bosnia and San Marino.

Alex Dobre's conclusions, after the success with FC Argeș

“I'm happy for the win tonight. It's a pride to be with this team, the staff, the guys, I'm happy for the work we're doing.

I needed a goal. In the match against Craiova, I did not have a good performance. I worked, I gave my best. I felt that I let my team down last game, that I wasn't a good example. I'm glad that now I ran, I fought, the team helped me.

We synchronized very well in the goal phase, it encourages me that we are working in training and the routes of play are also coming out in matches now. We are a team that progresses from match to match, much more consistent in what we do, we have the stability to take each match one at a time. If we do our best, we'll be up there.

It was sung who's in first place, who's in first place… It's fast (no moment when it starts to sing). We are happy to have climbed to first place. We have time to breathe, to put things in order, to be in continuous progress, to be as high as possible“, said Dobre, after the match, in a flash interview on “Digi Sport Special”.

Dobre refused to go into details about not being invited to the lot

Although he is the top scorer of the Superliga, with 9 goals, just like Florin Tănase, Dobre was not called by Mircea Lucescu to the decisive matches this month and, when asked about the situation, he refused to comment, but it was very clear from his speech that he is not satisfied with the situation.

“I'm a professional. If I'm called, fine, if not, then fine. If they need my services, fine, if not, it's nothing, I prefer not to comment on this subject. I don't comment on anything about the national team. I will continue to play for my family, for the team I play for, not necessarily for the national team. I want to show that we are united. If the call comes… if I'm going to be called, fine, if not, then fine. I am a professional”, concluded Dobre.

Present in the studio of the show, Cristian Săpunaru, former colleague of Dobre at Rapid, analyzed the message. He thinks it could be a conflict, but congratulates Alex for holding back: “He better not comment, he doesn't want to open Pandora's Box.”
