Intervention in Constanţa Port: The Sea Rescue Agency recovered three Egyptian sailors who needed medical attention

The Romanian Agency for Saving Life at Sea intervened, on Sunday, to take over three Egyptian sailors from a ship under the Palau flag, located in the outer road of the Port of Constanța.
“Sunday 10.05.2026, at 6:00 p.m., the Romanian Lifesaving Agency at Sea (ARSVOM) was requested by the Maritime Coordination Center (MRCC) to carry out a Medevac-type intervention. On board the GOLDEN SHARK ship, under the Palau flag, located in the second anchorage area/outer road of the port of Constanța, three crew members, of nationality Egyptian woman, requires medical care”, ARSVOM reported on Sunday evening, according to News.ro.
The institution specifies that, at 6:04 p.m., the ARTEMIS SAR vessel from the ARSVOM moved to the location indicated by the MRCC, to pick up the patients.
At 6:28 p.m., the SAR ARTEMIS ship docked on the starboard side of the GOLDEN SHARK ship, and at 6:45 p.m., the crew of the SAR ARTEMIS ship began picking up the patients, to be handed over to the medical crews, in berth 9/10 of the port of Constanța.
At 19:40, they were safely handed over to the medical crew.
