New cooling of the weather in Romania. ANM announces what is to come from Monday: “And we are approaching the threshold of freezing”

Meteorologists announce that a week ahead with colder temperatures than is normal for the period in the calendar, heavy rains and hail in some places. “The tendency is for the fog to appear again, a dangerous phenomenon for this period”, announced Oana Păduraru, ANM meteorologist, on Antena3 on Sunday.

“Gradually, almost the whole country will experience such manifestations of atmospheric instability, but especially a decrease in temperature values. For now, throughout Sunday, in the following hours, there will also be rain in the south-eastern part of the country, but quantitatively weak”, announced Oana Păduraru, ANM meteorologist, on Antena3.

But the coming night brings manifestations of slight instability in the west, southwest of the territory.

“We are expecting showers, possibly accompanied by electrical discharges, but for now, they will not cause problems,” said the ANM meteorologist.

Starting from Monday, the degree of atmospheric instability will increase, especially in Banat, Crișana, Maramureș, the Transylvanian area, but also in the southern part of the territory, in the Oltenia, Muntenia area, where more significant amounts of water are expected, in short time intervals, the meteorologist said.

Oana Păduraru also stated that the whole next week will remain cold and quite unstable in almost all areas of the country.

“If, for now, today we will have maximums of up to 28 degrees, during tomorrow, the thermal maximums will be between 17-26 degrees, gradually as we approach Tuesdays, but especially on Wednesday, the cooling of the weather will cover all areas of the country and we are even talking about temperatures below those specific to the period we are in. The maximums will fall between 10-20 degrees”, predicted the ANM meteorologist.

The thermal minimums remain quite high.

“These will fall between 7-12 degrees in most of the country, but as we approach the middle of next week, the tendency is for the thermal values ​​to drop a lot, especially in depression areas, where we are again approaching the frost threshold, i.e. 0 degrees. The tendency is for frost to appear again, a dangerous phenomenon for this time of the year,” said Păduraru.

The situation will improve only towards the end of next week, said the ANM meteorologist.
