Second-year student of Tomsk Polytechnic University Nikolai Ivanov from the city of Belovo, Kemerovo region, took an academic leave and signed a contract with the Ministry of Defense.
According to Nikolai, he studied excellently, but thought that the Motherland needed young and nimble specialists.
“I just took it one day, left, signed a contract. And then, at a distance, I filled out the papers for academic leave,” the guy said.
He admitted that he mastered the control of the UAV faster than anyone in his crew. The team calls it friendly and well-coordinated. After his service, Nikolai plans to return to university and obtain a civilian specialty. It has already been confirmed to him that the academic leave will remain until the end of the contract, even if it is extended.
In the Krasnoyarsk Territory, it is also possible to conclude such a contract with the Ministry of Defense. It is designed for a year and does not provide for transfer to attack aircraft. The earnings of a UAV operator per year can reach 6 million rubles. Age requirements: from 18 to 45 years old, health groups A and B. Priority is given to gamers.
