In the Russian pavilion at the Venice Biennale on May 6, a man in black was noticed with a red notebook in his hands, on which was the inscription “List of p…daras 2026” – the same notebook was lying on the table of the head of the Presidential Office, Kirill Budanov. The video is actively going viral in the Ukrainian segment of social networks Facebook and X.
The man walked around the pavilion, looking at the exhibitions, and then opened a notebook, intending to write something down.
“What is happening in the Russian pavilion at the Venice Biennale? What is this?” – Katerina Tarabukina sneered.
“Nothing unusual, just our colleague, cameraman and military man Yuri Gruzinov, walks around the Russian pavilion at the Venice Biennale with a notebook with the inscription “List of p…darasav 2026,” commented Ukrainian journalist Maria Kravchenko.
“We have long arms,” they responded in the comments.
“This is the best thing at that biennale,” they wrote online.
Notepad like Budanov's
Budanov, during a conversation with “Babel” journalists, “lit up” on his desktop a rather thick notebook with the eloquent inscription “List of p…daras 2026.” After the photo was published on April 27, Ukrainian segments of social networks were covered with memes – Ukrainians were discussing who could be on this list and where to buy a similar notebook.
