Two performances of the Krasnoyarsk Musical Theater were included in the competition program of the IX Big Children's Festival.
The expert council selected 41 performances from 490 applications from all over the country. In the competition program, the theater is presented in two categories:
- “Best musical performance for children in the younger age category” – “Chuk and Gek” (6+);
- “Best musical performance for children in the older age category” – “Shadow Fighting” (12+).
The director of both performances was the chief director of the Krasnoyarsk Musical Theater Gemma Avetisyan.
Passing into the competition program of the festival gives theaters the opportunity to present their performances at venues in Moscow, the Moscow region or St. Petersburg. The winners will be determined by an independent jury of children and youth aged from 8 to 16 years old – this is one of the features of the Big Children's Festival.
Let us remind you that the BDF is an annual festival that presents creative projects for children and teenagers created by professional groups in various genres of art. The artistic director of the festival is Sergei Bezrukov.
The Big Children's Festival is included in the national project “Family” and is held as part of the federal party project “Culture of the Small Motherland” with the support of the Presidential Fund for Cultural Initiatives and the Ministry of Culture of the Russian Federation.
The organizers of the festival are the Sergei Bezrukov Foundation for the Support and Development of Social and Cultural Projects, the Moscow Provincial Theater.
