Every fifth Russian woman regretted listening to the advice of the neural network

6 May 19:00

Every fifth woman and every seventh man in Russia regrets following the recommendations of the neural network in solving personal problems. This data follows from a survey* conducted by the SuperJob service.

In total, 48% of respondents turned to AI at least once for advice on personal issues. Women do this more often: 51% versus 46% for men. The most active users are young people under 35 (62%). In the age group 35–45 years old this figure is 37%, and among respondents over 45 it is only 31%.

The advice received was followed by 6 out of 10 applicants. At the same time, 43% do not regret following the recommendations, and 16% regret it (every sixth). Another quarter of respondents ignore AI advice, and 15% found it difficult to assess their applicability – most often because they do not take such advice seriously.

The greatest disappointment is among women: 18% of them regretted listening to AI (among men – 14%). Russian women were also more likely to receive advice that they ultimately ignored (30% versus 23% for men).

According to SuperJob, the range of personal requests to neural networks is extremely wide: from choosing a haircut or motor oil, a weight loss plan or a way to refuse an annoying admirer to serious issues of professional development or a strategy for reducing credit load. However, most often, AI is asked about health: for example, making plans for visiting doctors, interpreting test results, or clarifying treatment methods.

*The survey was conducted from April 20 to April 23, 2026 in 395 settlements of all districts of Russia. The study involved 1,600 economically active Russians with experience using neural networks.
