A piece of the Eternal Flame from the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier in Moscow was delivered to Krasnoyarsk on the eve of Victory Day.
The lamp traveled more than 4 thousand kilometers by plane to Krasnoyarsk as part of the all-Russian “Fire of Memory” campaign. As reported at the airport, the capsule was brought on May 6 by the head of the regional executive committee of the Popular Front in the Krasnoyarsk Territory, Oksana Larionova.
Tomorrow, May 7, at 9:15 the Eternal Flame will arrive at the Victory Memorial. Then the capsule will visit:

- 10:00 — Sovetsky district, obelisk in honor of military units
- 10:40 — Leninsky district, stela “Krasnoyarsk-city of labor valor”
- 11:10 — Kirovsky district, stele of the 30th anniversary of the Victory
- 11:45 — Sverdlovsk district, monument to Alexander Matrosov
- 12:20 — Central district, monument of glory “Cranes of My Memory”
- 13:00 — Zheleznodorozhny district, monument to “Those who died in the battles for Soviet power”
- 13:30 — Oktyabrsky district, square in front of the Cultural Center on Vysotnaya, “Cranes” monument
The “Fire of Memory” campaign unites people to preserve historical memory and respect the heroism of the defenders. This year, lamps with the Eternal Flame will visit 71 regions of Russia and 14 countries around the world.
