Former sports director of the capital's Spartak, Alexander Shikunov, was hospitalized in Moscow. Complaints: weakness, coughing to the point of vomiting, shortness of breath even at rest.
Last year he was repeatedly hospitalized due to lung problems. Recently underwent a bone marrow transplant. Now he is under the supervision of doctors in the hospital and is receiving the necessary treatment. His condition is assessed as average.
Alexander Shikunov is a notorious sports functionary. Previously, he worked not only in the Red-White camp, but also in “Wings of the Soviets”, which owed 36 million rubles to the judge’s organized crime group, and in several other clubs. Including “Rostov” – then he was vice-president and was in charge of a criminal case about the embezzlement of 34 million rubles, which the regional government allocated to the team. Then the media wrote that Shikunov managed to launder this money and withdraw it from Russia. He allegedly used them to buy himself a villa in Ibiza.
