The National Meteorological Administration (ANM) published on Tuesday, May 5, the weather forecast for the next four weeks, more precisely the period from May 4 to June 1. According to meteorologists, the weather will be warmer than normal throughout the period.

Week 05/04/2026 – 05/11/2026
Temperatures will be higher than typical for this week in most regions, but with a positive thermal deviation slightly more pronounced in the western, northern and central regions.
The estimated rainfall regime for this interval will be deficient at the level of the entire country.
Week 11.05.2026 – 18.05.2026
Average temperatures will be higher than normal for this period in all regions, but especially in the southwest.
The amounts of precipitation will be locally surplus in the northern regions, but also deficient in the southern ones, and will otherwise be close to normal.
Week 18.05.2026 – 25.05.2026
The average air temperature will be slightly higher than normal for this range, across the country.
The rainfall regime will be slightly excessive, locally, in the central regions, and otherwise it will be close to the normal one for this period.
Week 25/05/2026 – 01/06/2026
Average thermal values will be slightly above the specific ones for this week, throughout the territory of Romania.
Precipitation amounts will be close to normal for this range, across the country.
Weather forecasts for four weeks are made by ECMWF – European Center for Long-Range Forecasts. The weekly average deviations of air temperature and precipitation amounts from the average of the period 2006-2025 are estimated.
Extreme phenomena with a short duration of manifestation cannot be predicted with the help of this product.
