The team of Krasnoyarsk Sberbank and the bank’s partners held a cleanup day on Tatyshev Island on the eve of the start of the Green Marathon

Sber's environmental campaign “Marathon of Rivers and Parks” was held in the format of a team competition to clean up the territory on Tatyshev Island, the site of the upcoming Sber Green Marathon. About 200 employees with their families and bank partners joined the event.

The cleanup was held in a playful way – participating teams competed in the number of bags of garbage collected. A total of 465 bags were collected. The teams that took the first three places received valuable prizes. The youngest participants of the event painted shopping bags, played with the animators, and made badges with Suslik and SberCat. After cleaning, tea and treats awaited everyone.

Let us remind you that earlier Sber volunteers already opened the cleanup season on the territory of the Trinity Necropolis. More than 350 volunteers from different companies tidied up the burial places of Great Patriotic War veterans, governors and architects.

“The Sber team in Krasnoyarsk has opened the spring cleanup season. Every year our ranks of volunteers are replenished with new participants who contribute to caring for our heritage and nature. The location of the cleanup was not chosen by chance; for us it is a symbolic location. Already on May 30, we are waiting for citizens, guests of the city, our friends and partners at the Green Sber Marathon at the eastern entrance to Tatyshev Island. This year, the Green Marathon will simultaneously host 5 km and 1 km races in support of the All-Russian environmental campaign “I Choose Clean Air.” You can already register for all races in Krasnoyarsk on the Green Marathon website,” said Alexander Nuykin, manager of the Krasnoyarsk branch of Sberbank.
