Meta's AI assistant is intended to perform everyday tasks. What is Zuckerberg planning?

Meta creates agent tools for over 3 billion users, including an advanced digital assistant that will be based on the new Muse Spark artificial intelligence model, the Financial Times found.
One person familiar with the project said the assistant is being tested internally by a group of employees.
Another company insider told the FT that the goal is to develop an OpenClaw-like product that allows users to create AI-powered bots, called agents, that will autonomously perform tasks on their behalf.
Meta wants to allow users to share highly sensitive information such as health and financial data with assistants if they wish, said one person familiar with the project. However, some doubt whether consumers will be willing to do so.
The initiative underscores CEO Mark Zuckerberg's push to embed artificial intelligence at the heart of Meta's consumer products, at a time of growing investor concern about costs and the implementation of his sweeping vision of “personal superintelligence.”
Zuckerberg continues to invest billions of dollars in artificial intelligence infrastructure and talent, even as the company plans to cut 10%. employees at the end of this month.
Last week, Meta announced it would increase its capital expenditure by $10 billion, to $145 billion. this year. Wall Street's concerns about rising spending led to a sharp decline in the share price, with the group's market capitalization falling by almost $170 billion last week.
