Ufa woman brought more than 1.6 kilograms of drugs to Zheleznogorsk

A woman suspected of organizing a large-scale distribution channel for drugs and psychotropic substances was detained in Zheleznogorsk. This was reported in the press service of the regional police.
According to law enforcement agencies, a 49-year-old native of Ufa organized a channel for the supply of prohibited substances to the Krasnoyarsk Territory. She used her personal car to transport drugs. The woman was caught near the Zheleznogorsk ZATO checkpoint while she was trying to make a planting.
During a search of the car and in the forest, where the suspect had managed to set up hiding places, the police found several types of “forbidden” items. 779 grams of hashish, 865 grams of marijuana and amphetamine weighing just over a gram were seized from illegal trafficking. The total weight of the drugs was over 1.6 kilograms.
Later, investigators established where the woman temporarily lived in Krasnoyarsk. Law enforcement officers also found a batch of prohibited substances in the attacker’s rented apartment. The drugs were sent for examination.
A criminal case was opened against the Ufa resident under Part 3 of Art. 30, paragraph “d”, part 4, art. 228.1 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation. The woman refused to testify in court or cooperate in any way with the investigation. She is now in a pre-trial detention center.
