In the issue of the Birobidzhan Star (12+) dated May 3, 2001, E. Nikitina’s note “Strong in Spirit” was published. It says that the sports committee of the Birobidzhan mayor's office held the first festival of wheelchair sports for children (6+). Such festivals have become a good tradition.

In the same issue of the newspaper, under the heading “Heavenly Report,” there is an article by E. Antonova, “Time to Fly.” The material tells about the traditional competitions of aircraft modelers (6+) taking place in Birobidzhan. These were the tenth anniversary. 90 participants from all over the Far East came to the competition. The event took place at the Dalselmash stadium.

The boys and their coaches awaited the start with great excitement. “But then the chief judge asked the first crew to get ready. The two boys froze in anticipation: they had four minutes of air combat ahead, all this time they had to prevent their model from falling, otherwise they would receive a penalty point. Drawing intricate figures, the models spin in the air. Another moment – and one of the airplanes without a “tail” flies down like a stone. But there is still time, and the boy launches a spare model. For a few seconds he skillfully moves the model away from the enemy, but he turns out to be more cunning, and another opponent’s plane is left without a “tail”. The winner proudly pirouettes in the last seconds of the allotted time…”

The newspaper “Iskra Khingan” (12+) on May 3, 2011, on its pages, talked about the victories of Irradiation skiers.

“In Tynda, at the 1st championship and championship of the Amur region in alpine skiing, they not only took almost all the first places, but also collected the largest number of medals.”

“Those who created a miracle” is the title of an article by V. Ivashchenko, published in the city newspaper “MIG” (12+) on May 3, 2012.

She tells readers about the enormous success of the Ordinary Miracle theater studio of the Children's Creativity Center. The students received the Grand Prix of the VIII Festival-Competition of Children's Theater Creativity “Ocean Stages” (6+). It took place in Vladivostok at the All-Russian Children's Center “Ocean”. Teams from 20 constituent entities of the Russian Federation demonstrated their creativity on stage for two weeks. Drama, musical, puppet and amateur theaters took part in the competition. Of our guys, the senior staff of the studio went to Vladivostok – 20 guys from 12 to 15 years old.”

Especially for this festival, the team prepared a performance based on the Dr. Seuss fairy tale “Horton the Elephant is Waiting for a Chick” (6+).

The Ordinary Miracle Theater Studio has been participating in the theater festival since 1998.
