📢 European Business Association (EBA) urges power to promise a law on the regulation of the pharmaceutical market.
The European Business Association (EBA) appealed to the authorities of Ukraine to veto draft law No. 11493 adopted by the parliament. New regulations can destabilize the market of medicines and reduce their availability for Ukrainians.
💊 What is the problem?
▪️ The law may lead to the removal of some drugs from circulation.
▪️ Implementation of the “national catalog” of medicinal products under the proposed conditions creates risks for international manufacturers and does not correspond to European practices.
▪️ The introduction of quotas and mark-up restrictions on medicines does not take into account the existence of various financial models of international manufacturing companies currently operating on the Ukrainian market. Such restrictive conditions will become a significant barrier to doing business and may lead to a reduction in their activity.
❗️ The health of Ukrainians cannot depend on ill-conceived decisions!
