Cristiano Bergodi (61 years old), the coach of U Cluj, analyzed the late victory with FC Argeș1-0, the only goal being scored from a penalty awarded in extra time of the second half.

The Italian described Argeș as “a very difficult team to beat”.

“She can play the same with the other teams in the play-offs and she has no problems because she is aggressive. She played well, we didn't come in that well in the first half, but we got a big win. The second half was better, we had moments where we just stayed around their box. We deserved the win with the way we played the second half.

It's three very important points for us to stay up there and secure a place in the European Cupsthat's what we're thinking about. After that, we'll see what happens,” he commented to DigiSport.

Bergodi did not appear concerned that his side struggled in what many considered to be a “three-point” game.

“I don't care what people say. The paper says you're going to win there and there… There's nothing like that in football. When you meet a team that's aggressive, that can play toe-to-toe with all the other teams, it's very difficult.

I built this team, this extraordinary journey together with the boys. It's to their credit, they managed a bunch of victories in a row”, said the University coach.

In the flash-interview, the Italian offered good news to the supporters, stating that the goalscorer Jovo Lukic should soon be fit to play: “We hope to have Lukic available for the match with Rapid, then also for the very important Cup match with Craiova”.
