
The YouTube channel “Dmitry Gordon” published an interview between the editor-in-chief of the online publication “GORDON” Alesya Batsman and Russian lawyer and blogger Mark Feigin.
During the interview, Batsman and Feigin discussed the following topics:
- in Russia – internal “movement”. Is a rebellion or conspiracy brewing against Putin?;
- Ukrainian drones fly to Perm and St. Petersburg;
- the Russians suddenly became concerned that the parade could not be held due to the threat of drones;
- Russians have a feeling that there will be no victory, the years have been wasted;
- Tuapse is suffering because all air defense has been moved to Moscow;
- Ukrainian ballistics will fly – and a hole will remain from the Lubyanka or the Kremlin;
- Putin will not dare to mobilize because it is unpredictable;
- is another “Prigozhin’s march” possible now;
- Putin cannot attack the Baltic countries – he does not have the resources to do so;
- Will Putin “unfreeze” the Internet for Russians?
Feigin was born in 1971 in Kuibyshev (now Samara). Graduated from the Faculty of Law of Samara State University, the Academy of National Economy under the Government of the Russian Federation and the Diplomatic Academy of the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs. Candidate of Legal Sciences. In 1994–1995 he was a deputy of the State Duma of the first convocation, and in 1997–2007 – vice-mayor of Samara.
In the 1990s, he received the status of a lawyer, but began practicing law in the 2000s. He became widely known as one of the lawyers for the members of the punk group Pussy Riot. After the start of Russian aggression, he defended the interests of several famous citizens of Ukraine whom the Russian Federation held on its territory or against whom it initiated criminal cases in absentia, including the leader of the Crimean Tatar people Mustafa Dzhemilev and former pilot Nadezhda Savchenko.
In 2018, Feigin was deprived of the status of a lawyer in Russia, in 2022 he was added to the list of “foreign agents”, in 2023 he was put on the wanted list, in 2024 he was first arrested in absentia in the case of fakes about the actions of Russian occupiers in Ukraine, and then sentenced to 11 years in prison.
Now the lawyer lives in France, is engaged in blogging, and develops his YouTube channel “Feigin LIVE”, which has almost 2 million subscribers.
