Vice Speaker of the State Duma Anna Kuznetsova came to Krasnoyarsk for the demographic forum. Together with the Chairman of the Legislative Assembly of the region, Alexei Dodatko, she visited two social institutions that are important for the residents of the region.
First they went to the family MFC in the Oktyabrsky district. In it, in a “one window” mode, you can get all the necessary social services and assistance in paperwork. The director of the institution, Dmitry Oskolkov, spoke about the specifics of the organization’s work. Any resident of the Krasnoyarsk Territory can become a recipient of services. The spacious building houses the “My Documents” multifunctional center, the social protection department and a comprehensive social service center. Here they work with various categories of families and children, including children with disabilities. In total, since the beginning of the year, the institution has provided more than 60 thousand services.
“The family multifunctional center is a unique phenomenon that is just beginning to develop in our country. The family can get all the necessary help and answers to their questions here. The “My Documents” center speeds up the process of receiving support measures; classes are also held here for various categories at the request of people. I see that no one is left unattended. The issue of providing early assistance and rehabilitation of a child at a very early stage is very important – this is a special topic. This experience – the format of support, the principle of organizing work – must be extended throughout the country. We will discuss this issue with the governor of the Krasnoyarsk Territory,” noted Anna Kuznetsova.
The Vice Speaker of the State Duma also visited the Rainbow multifunctional sports complex, specializing in adaptation programs for children and adults with disabilities. Minister of Sports of the Krasnoyarsk Territory Denis Petrovsky showed the grounds of the sports complex and spoke about their capabilities. There is a regional adaptive sports center here, where children and adults engage in special programs.
“The Krasnoyarsk Territory has something to present to its federal colleagues and something to be proud of. The region has built a systematic work with families; a number of bills have been adopted aimed at supporting families with children. Today we visited institutions whose experience may be useful for other regions,” said Alexey Dodatko, Chairman of the Legislative Assembly of the Krasnoyarsk Territory.
After visiting the institutions, Anna Kuznetsova took part in the Demographic Forum. This is a large-scale platform that brought together participants from 32 regions of Russia. Federal experts, government and business representatives, and the parent community discussed strategically important tasks and challenges facing our country.
