As we read, the bodies belong to a woman and a man aged approximately 25-30. No documents were found with them. The guards also did not discover any traces that anyone could have caused the death of these people.

Additionally, eight migrants were detained on site, two of whom were taken to hospital. They also had no documents, but claimed to be from Ethiopia, Algeria, Yemen and Eritrea.
According to the Lithuanian services, the migrants could have entered the European Union through Latvia and then wanted to reach Poland. They were likely to contact the smuggler at some point.
RMF reports that last 24 hours, a record number of 123 foreigners tried to get to Latvia from Belarus.
