The head of the Uzhgorod regional territorial center for recruitment and social security should be transferred to a combat unit after a scandal with the conditions of detention of conscripts. As hromadske reports, the deputy head of the Transcarpathian regional TCC and joint venture, Alexander Bovkunenko, stated this at a meeting of the temporary investigative commission of the Verkhovna Rada.
According to him, the official himself asked to be transferred to a combat unit.
“He will be transferred to a combat unit. He came to us from a combat unit, from the air assault troops. He himself expressed his desire. At least he told me about it personally: that he wants to go to a combat unit. He has not left yet – he was called to training in Kyiv,” Bovkunenko said.
Commenting on the improper conditions of detention of those mobilized at the assembly point, Bovkunenko said that the TCC allegedly could not change them, since the point is located in rented premises and the landlord does not allow changes and reconstruction.
