Scott Parker (45) has terminated his contract with Burnley by mutual consent shortly after the team were mathematically relegated from the Premier League.
Scott Parker masterminded Burnley's return to the Premier League, setting a record 30-game clean sheet the previous season in the Championship.

On Thursday, April 30, Burnley issued an official statement announcing the departure of Scott Parker, the manager who had one year remaining on his contract with the Turf Moor side.
“Scott Parker and the board have held discussions and mutually agreed that his tenure at Burnley will come to an end. During his time at Turf Moor, Parker led the team to an outstanding 2024-25 season, securing Burnley's promotion from the Championship to the Premier League with a 31-match unbeaten run and a remarkable 30-game clean sheet.”
The club would like to sincerely thank Scott for his professionalism, dedication and contribution. He leaves with the respect and gratitude of everyone connected with Burnley Football Club.”
Mike Jackson, supported by the existing coaching staff, has been appointed interim coach until the end of the season. Burnley still have 4 games to play in the Premier League, with Leeds away, Aston Villa at home, Arsenal away and Wolverhampton at home.
Scott Parker played as a central midfielder and was brought up by Charlton Athletic. During his career, Parker also played for Norwich City, Chelsea, Newcastle United, West Ham United, Tottenham and Fulham.
He also started his coaching career at Fulham, which he coached in 2019-2021, after which he coached Bournemouth in 2021-2022. After the adventure at Club Brugge, from the 2022-2023 season, Scott Parker signed with Burnley in 2024.
