US troops can remain in Germany, but in limited numbers. This is the message that Donald Trump posted on social media on the night from Wednesday to Thursday, Polish time.

“The United States is analyzing and considering a possible reduction in the number of troops in Germany, and a decision will be made soon. Thank you for your attention! President DONALD J. TRUMP,” the president wrote on Truth Social.

A day earlier, Trump mocked German Chancellor Friedrich Merz that in the context of the United States and Israel's war with Iran, he “has no idea what he's talking about.”

What happened in Poland?

The Parliamentary Health Committee issued a negative opinion on the motion to dismiss Jolanta Sobierańska-Grenda from the position of head of the Ministry of Health. – We are not avoiding talks about reforms – noted the minister. She pointed to approximately 230 legal acts during her term in office. “These are not trivial actions,” she said.

Katarzyna Sójka from PiS accused the Minister of Health that Poles are forced to organize collections for treatment, and the Ministry of Health limits expenditure, e.g. on the Medical Fund.

Sobierańska-Grenda was defended by Alicja Chybicka from KO. “I'm terrified to hear that health care is a big failure,” she said.

What will happen on April 30?

The last day of searching for the remains of Polish victims of Ukrainian nationalists in Ostrówki and Wola Ostrowiecka in Volhynia. According to reports, the remains of six people have been found there so far, but under the exposed top layer of earth, these places most likely contain mass graves. After completing the initial search, the Institute of National Remembrance will submit applications to the Ukrainian authorities for permission to exhume. It is possible that they will happen this year.
