April's result is one of the weakest in the entire period of his office so far,” it was written in a commentary on the survey results.

Parliament scores. The Sejm and Senate reflect in the eyes of Poles

In turn, as CBOS pointed out, the April study brought an improvement in the assessment of the activities of both the Sejm and the Senate. With regard to the Sejm – 37% had a positive opinion about the chamber in April. respondents, while negatively 48%, another 15% it had no opinion. Compared to March, the number of positive responses increased by 6 percentage points and the number of negative responses decreased by 5 percentage points.

As for the Senate, 38% rated it positively. respondents, 36 percent negatively, and 26 percent it had no opinion. In this case, compared to March, the number of positive responses increased by 4 percentage points, while the number of negative responses decreased by 3 percentage points.

In the case of both houses of parliament, positive assessments are more common among supporters of the Civic Coalition, residents of large cities and better-off people, while negative assessments are more common among voters of PiS and both Confederations, residents of rural areas and small towns with low incomes.

“Both in the case of the Sejm and the Senate, we observe a return to ratings similar to those recorded in November 2025. Particularly in the case of the Sejm, there is a visible reduction in the distance between positive and negative ratings, which may indicate an improvement in its image,” commented CBOS.

The study was conducted on a representative sample of 944 adult residents of Poland drawn from the PESEL register on April 9-19, 2026 (PAP)
