The city quiz in Krasnoyarsk was dedicated to the 95th anniversary of the Yenisei River Shipping Company

A city quiz “From the Sayans to the Arctic” was held in Krasnoyarsk, dedicated to the 95th anniversary of the Yenisei River Shipping Company.

The event was attended by 300 people, united in 47 teams. The organizers were the Norilsk Nickel company and the Yenisei River Shipping Company. In two hours, participants learned a lot about the Krasnoyarsk Territory, the people of the region, and the main river, the Yenisei.

“The quiz was well done, I really liked it, it wasn’t boring. It was interesting to learn about the Yenisei Shipping Company, although we thought there would be difficult questions about history. But in the end, most tasks are based on logic. You will learn all the facts in the process, and all that remains is to correctly unravel them, compare them and get an answer,” a player from the “Come in Large Numbers” team shared her impressions.

The organizers prepared different assignment formats: there were text questions, pictures, music and puzzles. It is important that victory did not require any special knowledge, only general erudition.

As a result, the prizes were distributed as follows: the first place was taken by the “Inquisition” team, the second by “Alexander Gray” and the third by “Scoliosis and Courage”. The winners received branded backpacks with the symbols of the Nornickel-Yenisei River Shipping Company as a gift, as well as gift baskets with various delicacies.

“The game is very interesting. We are, of course, erudite, but we also did a little preparation. We did an excellent job – we are very pleased with the result,” said members of the winning team “Inquisition” after the award ceremony.

Cadets of the Krasnoyarsk Institute of Water Transport and the Krasnoyarsk Technical School of Transport and Service organized activity locations where everyone could learn how to tie sea knots and convey words using flag alphabet.

The quiz was the first city event from the Yenisei River Shipping Company, a division of the Norilsk Nickel company. Thus, the shipping company celebrates its 95th anniversary.

“It turned out to be a wonderful event. Such meetings not only provide live communication, but also allow us to take a fresh look at the history of the place where we live. We are glad that through the game we shared a small part of the 95-year history of the shipping company. We invite everyone to join our events. In July, River Worker Day will be held, which we will definitely talk about in more detail,” said Evgeniy Myznikov, Deputy General Director for Personnel and Social Policy.
