In the Central district of Krasnoyarsk, 750 cubic meters of waste have already been removed since the beginning of the year – that’s 75 KamAZ trucks. This was reported to the mayor's office.
The most garbage was removed from the islands of Molokov and Otdykha – 350 cubic meters, that is, 35 KamAZ trucks. Waste was also eliminated on the streets of Bryanskaya, Promyslovaya and Northern Highway. Small landfills were cleared out in the private sector of Pokrovka – on Dostoevsky and Yuri Gagarin streets.
In total, this year they plan to clear the area of 7,300 cubic meters of garbage; about 13 million rubles will be spent on this. To prevent littering, CCTV cameras are installed in problem areas. Since the beginning of the year, 18 people have already been fined for storing waste.
The head of the Central District Administration, Dmitry Bezrukikh, said that municipal container sites will be additionally equipped to combat landfills. Last year, 11 such places were installed in the private sector of Pokrovka, and they plan to do the same number this year. The addresses were chosen taking into account the wishes of the townspeople and the SanPiN requirements for distance from residential buildings.
